Friends (29)About Me
I am a native of Jacksonville, Florida. I first started in photography by taking pictures of my son as he was on the the playground. Working at the Picture People, I was able to learn how to develop film and take photos of large groups of people. I have also worked for Sears as a photographer for their catalogs. I have been published in Jet Magazine. I have been shooting in the Jacksonville, Miami, Daytona, and Orlando area for about 6 years. I have been in Atlanta, GA to capture the essence of a Metro Area for about 6 years now.
TFP/TFCD is an arrangement between a model and a photographer. In my case, the preferences on how I would arrange and execute the shoots are: Model is responsible for wardrobe and makeup expenses. I'm responsible for any location permits or studio and equipment rental. I'm responsible for any print, CD media, and shipping costs. Everyone is responsible for their own transportation. I will obtain a signed model release to use the photographs for portfolio, art print, or commercial purposes. Model will receive a license to use the photographs for their portfolio, comp card, and online portfolio. Shoots will last from 2-6 hours. I will choose the best photos to retouch and send to the model. The number of photos provided is usually between two and fifty, depending on the the style of photography. Six or seven photographs per "look" (wardrobe change) is generally recognized as adequate compensation. The amount of retouching also varies. (Birth scars and Tattoo Removal will be extra) The total time to select, retouch, and send the photographs to the model can range from ONE WEEK to TWO MONTHS. If a make-up artist request a small "kit fee" from me to recover makeup costs, I expect the model to go half. Sometimes I may require a small deposit from the model (US$20-100) to confirm booking. (BECAUSE A LOT OF "MODELS" CANCEL AT THE LAST MINUTE) The deposit would be refunded at the shoot, and forfeited if the model does not cancel the shoot with adequate notice. (NOTE: IT TAKES TIME TO GET READY FOR A SHOOT AND IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO IT PLEASE CALL OR TEXT A DAY OR TWO BEFORE) Themes and wardrobe requirements are arranged prior to the shoot by telephone, in person, or over email. Common themes include casual, glamour ("men's magazine"-style swim wear, lingerie, or fetish), and artistic nudes. I only provide low-resolution photos (for online posting). I also provide high-quality photos for printing at a nominal fee. The model cannot sell the photographs to any web site or submit them to magazine/online contests without permission. If the model is under 18, a parent is usually required to attend the shoot and sign the release. The model can bring a guest to the shoot to observe only.
