I'm the creative director for Solis Creative, LLC, a professional, full-service photographic group working in Portland, Oregon. We specialize in urban environmental photography for travelers, product photography and portrait photography. We are flexible and innovative, and our style is contemporary, vibrant and expressive. Our mission is to create a new dialog for image making.

The short of all of that is: I've finally grown up to become a real, live photographer. I still love it when people play dress up, but I've grown to love keeping my subjects within the context of actual places rather than in studio settings. My specialization is portraiture and product photography - I haven't seen any profiles for diamond rings and shampoo bottles, so I'm hoping to reach you, dear human models!

One of our goals, as a business, is to change how the world tells a photographic story, to empower the exploration of a place and the creation of meaningful keepsakes by lending our expertise to travelers to Portland - a city we at Solis Creative love to live in. We think its funny that a trip you may spend thousands of dollars on, to go to a different place and experience different things, doesn't merit the same concern for quality commemoration as a wedding or other special occasion, and hope to change the dialog for not only how we approach commemoration on a social level but how we observe the importance of daily life.

If you got through all that: whew! I would love to work with you, whether you're a model or an artist yourself, and am open to all sorts of projects. So, hmi, like the kids say these days.
