Most of my experience comes from being my own model for my photography. But in recent years I've done some great shoots with some wonderful photographers and would like to pursue that side of things more seriously. Maybe I'm just sick of setting the self-timer on my camera and then trying to run across the room in 6-inch platforms to try and get into position in time

While I am interested in alt/goth/fetish photography (however meaningless those categories are these days) I'd also like to explore some other, more specific visual concepts. I have an extremely feminine face, but I'm built like a boxer - broad shouldered and muscular. I have several tattoos (one on each wrist, one on the underside of my right forearm, one on my lower stomach, one around my left elbow, one on my right ankle, one on my upper back, one across the top of my stomach, and one going down my right side) and piercings and adore vinyl and impractical footwear, but also love wearing traditional Indian clothing. The main concept behind my shoot with Jay Seth was to play up this dichotomy of East/West, traditional/not traditional. In my own photography, I've often tried to create images that juxtapose masculinity and femininity in interesting ways - corsets and muscles, high heels and bruises, et cetera.
