About the Designer

Oakland native designer Keana Dollar, has combined
the look of contemporary urban hip hop with a touch of
Caribbean & African cultured style. Keana’s clothing is relaxed, fun and sexy pieces that are perfect for the sexy woman in all of us. Each piece is one of a kind and bursting with color.

Many of Keana’s inspirations come from her community and the love of all things African and Caribbean. Keana has always said there is nothing out there that she liked for herself, so she would buy her clothes in vintage and urban boutiques in and around her community and add her own flare to the clothing.

Keana started making clothes in December 2004 and did her first fashion show in January 2005 it was huge recognition for her first clothing pieces. Keana’s specialty is skirts, shirts, and dresses for woman and teen girls, but says in the near future she would love to venture into making toddler, men and boys clothing.
