Amber Rae is a classically trained artist with over 15 years of experience as a makeup artist and 5 years as a makeup educator. In the past, she has worked for prominent brands such as Aveda, Kryolan, and Prescriptives. Recently, she just returned home to the Bay Area after spending the past 3 years in New England. While there, she worked with students from the New England School of Photography and MassArt, and was a finalist for Best Bridal Artist through the Seacoast Awards. Amber is passionate about helping people feel beautiful and showing ways to express themselves through the medium of makeup. She has worked with all ages, genders, and ethnicities, from Red Carpet to Prom. She uses professional, cruelty free, and ECARF certified cosmetics exclusively on her clients to ensure that everyone gets the best quality treatment. She is well versed in all different types of makeup, including bridal, fashion, fantasy and stage. Amber’s work has been featured in several publications, including The Daily Sun, OCStylist.com, PortsmouthNH.com, and Boston Voyager. In her free time, she enjoys exploring nature, trying new foods, and spending time with her fiancee and dog.
