About Me

UPDATE 3/28/2016:  I mentioned health issues the last time I updated my Bio,  I was diagnosed with Diabetes and Fibromyalgia a chronic pain and auto-immune illness. However, I have never felt that anything at all should get in someone's way to do what they love. I have a brand new upgraded camera, I am setting up a personal studio, and I still do digital work.

I have been published in Newspapers, Magazines, and have sold my photography for backgrounds for video games and the cover for a scholarly book on Native American Research.

My most recent publication was in Strange Beauty Magazine, this past May 2015 Issue. I also was picked from over 300 photographers in a local contest to exhibit three of my photographs with 50 other photographers at Buffalo Niagara Gallery.  I was very honored to have one of my photos was sold that evening to help Cysts Fibrosis, and the other two went on to exhibit in another show this summer to represent our fair city, Buffalo, NY.

I am the type of photographer who approaches each and every photograph as if it is the next Rembrandt or Picasso art piece, in other words, something of great value. I love to have humor and fun with my photo shoots, even the ones about very serious matters, such as Anti-Bullying and Diversity.  But I can be serious if that is what the photo shoot and the client requires.

I love surrealism art and political statements, so I will sometimes have my own photography projects so I can create my own visions.

I believe we all continue to grow and learn every day, I would never shut myself off to learn from those more experienced than me.

At this time, I don't do *TFP/CD often but I will occasionally do so if the project is one of my own or if I really feel the project is interesting enough.  Never fail to contact me just because you don't think I will do a *TFP/CD and you can't afford to pay for a photographer.  Let me know what your project is and we can discuss the details.

Two things I generally tell every model I work with:

#1 Bring your personality and imagination to the shoot - I want to have fun and for you to have fun.  It is only through having fun and showing your personality will the camera capture the real glamorous shots. (plus, expect the unexpected...I have shocked models before by throwing them into unexpected situations-nothing dangerous-Just to get them to loosen up and relax. The camera can see your nerves just like a dog can smell fear.)

#2 Don't be a lump on a log.  If you are new to modeling, that is fine and we can work together, but be willing to learn and to take directions.

I am open to many different types of photography so long as it is done tastefully and with an artistic flare.

I am always willing to work on building my portfolio with new and interesting images, and am currently working on several new and ongoing projects.  My primary portfolio images will be focused on the following areas:

• Artistic and Political photography
• Studio and Environmental portraiture
• Commercial photography
• Pet portraiture
• Children/family portraiture
• Event photography
• Private commissions welcome.

I am very much a visual and emotional artist who responds to what I see, feel and even dream during this life journey.

I enjoy meeting new people, making friends and all things art.

My favorite people to work with are those who are as open to trying new things as I am, and aren't shy to through out ideas and who bring their personalities with them to a shoot.

I try to daily explore some new and artistic aspect of the world around me and my own physical characteristics, realizing that I am interwoven with the elements of this world, and the world is interwoven with my inner being.
