I create art because I believe it is vital to the human condition. We all have stories and dreams that need to be explored and shared.

In my studio I shoot motion studies in a variety of immersive formats, for example motion capture and volumetric video. Motion can be tricky, I'm looking at something between slow performance dance and yoga.

In the field I have been shooting analog, large format film and making darkroom silver gelatin prints for more than 20 years. I am extremely particular about models and shooting locations. I do not typically do this at my studio in Oakland, but out in the wilds of Nevada, Arizona, Detroit etc. If you know a great abandoned location, and would like to shoot film for trade only, definitely hit me up. I absolutely love real, tangible, film and making handmade prints in a darkroom. There's a lot of fake in the world, not here! I am interested in the out of ordinary, unusual models that can get dirty, cold, tied up and bring something when it comes time to open the shutter! Ultimately I'm looking for fellow artists that wish to collaborate, go-to models that inspire creativity and help me fulfill my vision by being open and flexible.
