At the tender age of 17, Cecilia Deville first raised eyebrows at the Rappahannock County annual hog wrestling completion, winning ribbons in both the youth and adult divisions. Despite being courted by various local sponsors, she used her hog wrestling scholarship to study culture and fashion under renowned speech therapist Fred Gywnne. Together they co wrote a thesis on the effects of traditional garments worn by Brazilian puppeteers, based on the treatments of Ferando Gomes, the voice of Garibaldo, a leading character on Brazil’s Vila Sesamo. Unfortunately, after college the team lost their grant when it changed course. It was quickly discovered that applying acupuncture techniques on Koala bears tended to provoke not relax the otherwise docile creatures. This led Miss DeVille to move to Philadelphia and pursue her childhood dream: intermediate professional Bocce Ball. In her spare time, Cecilia designs for exclusive clientele creating one of a kind fashion pieces. She also creates various unique accessories and garments, for both men and women.  Her style is unique, combining vintage styles with a modern touch of steam punk.
