In the second grade I started selling drawings of Disney characters for quarters at recess and spending my winnings on chocolate milk. At that moment, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life.

I am a painter. All of my work is hand painted in oil on canvas or oil on wooden panels. I paint from life and from photographs. No photoshop is used. What you see is what you get. I was trained classically and am madly addicted in creating beautiful things.

I moved from the green hills of northern Oregon to SoCal back in 2002. Most of my time is spent traveling around the state painting all of this beautiful nature. The best part of my job is that I literally get to stand and stare at the base of an epic mountain or pristine ocean and paint it from life. Nature humbles you in ways that I could never explain.

However, sometimes I have to climb back down the mountain and paint something else that is just as beautiful as mother nature, and that is where you come in.
