At Behind the Mask Creations, we specialize in photography and Photoshop assignments within the gothic, horror, fantasy, medieval and renaissance, and artistic nude genres, and we love tattoos, piercings, & motorcycles. 

I look forward to networking and working with makeup artists, body painters, models, hair stylists, and wardrobe artists.  MODELS: I am accepting paid shoots and looking for some TFCD projects.  MAKEUP ARTISTS, BODY PAINTERS, HAIR STYLISTS, and WARDROBE ARTISTS: I want to trade with you, offering you a TF, giving you images to use in your portfolio, showing your skills and the project you helped me to create. 

I'm looking to add to my portfolio and yours in each of the genres I shoot--gothic, fantasy, horror, medieval and renaissance, artistic nude, and tattoo/piercings.  I have an in home studio and also love doing on location assignments at parks, beaches, playgrounds, run down/urban locations, wheat fields, flower fields, and on, and on.



CURRENT PROJECT:

I'm so excited to announce a new portrait project called, "Naked & UnMasked".  Check out the MM album to see some images from this project.

The purpose of this project is to explore who we are on a deep & intimate level.  Each participant will select 1 or more of the project questions to answer with their portrait set.  To better reveal participants' true selves & answer the question(s) in a very controlled way, the creative resources will be limited in the following unique way: each participant can represent their answer with their choice of Mask, Hair Style, Clothing or Nudity, their Pose, the Manor in Which they hide or display their full body, possibly Location (primarily in studio against a white backdrop, but may include some outdoor or other special locations, too), and a few other variables.  The questions are as follows:

■"Who Are You?"
■"What is Your Greatest Accomplishment?"
■"What is Your Biggest Fear?"
■"What is Your Biggest Regret?"
■"What is/was your biggest battle/struggle in life?"
■"If fear/illness/etc. wasn't an issue, what would you want to do or be?"

I want all types of participants--18 and older, youthful, elderly, tattooed & pierced, various shapes, sizes, colors, people with injuries, people who are amputees or are crippled, people very active in dance, yoga, martial arts, are fit, overweight, all different hair styles & types--beards, moustaches, mohawks, bald, people who were or are abused, LBGTs, Suicide Girls, Ladies of Metal, Famous People...anyone and everyone that is legally old enough & wants to participate!  Down the road, I may do a clothed version for children to see what fascinating perspectives and responses they add to the project.
