I have been taking pictures since 2001 and started shooting models on MM in the summer of 2007. I have been shooting with a Canon Digital Rebel XT since spring of 2007. In 2010 I upgraded to a Canon 60D.

My studio is a room at my home in Conway, Arkansas.  For outdoor shoots I like the Rivermarket area in Little Rock and, here in Conway, Cadron Park and Hendrix College.  I also like shooting on the beach of the Arkansas River at Toadsuck (yep, there really is a place called Toadsuck).


Photography is my hobby, not my job, so I take the pictures and give you a photo DVD and you can do with it what you will. If there are some pictures that you really like, then those can be edited for enhancements. If you bring a jump drive or laptop to the shoot, that makes it even easier.  Edits do take a bit more time...

SPECIAL NOTE: Not every photographer will provide you with all the originals. I STRONGLY advise all models to get, in writing prior to any shoot with any photographer, a very clear explanation of what images will be provided to the model, when they will be provided and any limitations about posting of those images.

Subjects younger than 18 will need to have a parent/guardian contact me prior to any shoots and that same person will also need to be at the shoot.

If you are a model and have some ideas that you want captured, drop me a message. I am willing to try just about any shot you can come up with.

One piece of advice I give all models is to ALWAYS take an escort to a shoot. Until you have shot with a photographer a few times you really should have someone with you.  I would also suggest that you contact other models that the photographer has shot to get an idea of what kind of person you will be meeting.

Make sure the escort you choose will be comfortable with the poses you do—nothing will ruin the mood of a shoot faster than a jealous boyfriend or shocked and embarrassed best friend—or mother! Escorts are encouraged to be a part of my shoots. They may make comments, suggestions, help with wardrobe and even pose if they want.

If you bring children to the shoot then you must bring someone to watch over them while we shoot. If we have a reservation for a shoot and you find you need to cancel, then contact me ASAP, even if it is 5 minutes before the shoot. I tend not to reschedule people who cancel without any contact whatsoever.

Sometimes people want pictures that go beyond the ones you can hang on the wall. I am willing to do those, but I would much prefer you make the suggestion to do so and let me know what your boundaries are.
