I am an amateur photographer and I have been shooting for 4 years now. I have worked with a handful of amateur models but as they were amateur, or volunteer, models they were not committed to the craft due to their other obligations. I still work with one frequently as availability allows. I am hoping to get to work with several models registered here as they are actually interested in modeling and not as an occasional hobby.
Working with different models on collaborative shoots is the best way to gain experience and broaden my knowledge and skills as a photographer as well as increase my own portfolio. I'm looking to work with models that have little or no experience because it would be a more relaxed shoot if there are no unrealistic expectations from either side. Then together, we will both gain experience.
