Paul is an award winning and internationally published fine art photographer, poet and author from
Plymouth Massachusetts where he lives with his 14-year-old daughter, Samara.
When he was 16, he picked up his first camera and has since traveled over the United States making
pictures and documenting life. He has won numerous awards and accolades for his work, along his
journey. Through his volunteer photojournalism work with “Photographers Without Boarders” he has
also traveled to several countries and worked with many different NGO’s and causes.
Through the lens of a camera, he attempts to capture the stirring of a soul. Of his own soul. Hoping that
his images and words uncover the beauty and magic of the ordinary that so often goes unnoticed. Small
everyday details stand alongside the sweeping grandeur of nature, humanness, cityscapes and the
streets of life.
His art, like his life, is a practice in everyday mindfulness and deep poetic insight

Statement:

Through the lens of a camera, I attempt to capture the stirring of a soul. Of my soul.

For me, my images tell stories of daily life and the human hearts condition. They advocate for those whose voices go unheard or are misunderstood.

They ask us to look more closely and feel more deeply into our own selves, our own hearts, and what is important to us as individuals and as a society.

With my vision I try to find light in the shadow and shadow in the light. My art, like my life, is a practice in everyday mindfulness and deep insight.
