Hello. I'm a Denver-Metro photographer who owns and operates a small consumer photography business, and I'm back on Model Mayhem after a hiatus from the website. I've been envolved in photography for over 10 years, and after investing in some new lighting equipment and learning some new shooting techniques, I know my best work is still ahead of me.

I'm currently investing in re-shooting my portfolio, and am highly interested in models who are eager to do some portfolio development through TFP. I'm fortunate enough to have my own shooting space and am willing to do quite a bit of free work for models and MUAs who actually want to put the time and effort into collaborating and portfolio building.

My biggest MM pet peeve is flakes, so please don't waste my time if you aren't serious about shooting. Though I am looking for TFP opportunites,I will offer paid shoots to the right model for the sake of my own portfolio development and business needs.

I consider myself to be an above average photographer, and as I mentioned earlier, I do have a small business in which I'm compensated hansomely for photoshoots. It's my greatest hope for MM that more beginner models realize the tremendous value in trade shoots, as it's important to remember that photoshoots for various web and paper publications are traditionally paid for by the publication, and like the model, the photographer is hired for the shoot; meaning that becaue of owning expensive equipment and having the skill set to use that equimpment, phographers typically can't be retained for free. There are too many people on this site who belive the phographer is their customer, while not taking advantage of developing their ports through trade shoots so they can reach their real customers.
