I am a photographer located in Knoxville, Tennessee. I have studied photography at Lincoln Memorial University, the University of South Carolina, and East Tennessee State University, where I earned an MFA in 2010. I have held teaching posts at Pellissippi State Community College, Lincoln Memorial University, Walters State Community College, East Tennessee State University, and Arrowmont School of Art. I have always been an avid workshop participant and have studied with Marsha Burns, Mark Goodman, Tim Grey, Christopher James, Brian Kaufman, Mary Ellen Mark, John Sexton, Craig Stevens, and Joyce Tenneson.

My photography has been exhibited nationally and internationally. Of recent, my interest has been photographing individuals with tattoos for my series "Judgemental INK."

My RINGSIDE series was just named as one of PhotoLucida’s 200 Critical Mass Finalists on August 18, 2022.
