Yuhong got a master's in computer science and have a career in IT. But he has been passionate about photography. He helped to establish the Los Angeles Photography Salon, the largest Asian photo club in Southern California. He studied photography at MTSAC and become a professional photographer. He is an award winning photographer. His photos were in exhibitions in Beijing, and recently in the Shanghai World Expo 2010. He wrote for Travlellers magazine in shanghai and Photographer's Friends in Beijing.  His photos were featured in several books, including A Photographers' Guide to 28 Most Beautiful Spots in the West (2009) and American West in the Eyes of Chinese Photographers (2010).
