I was a professional portrait (and occasionally wedding) photographer for several years, and have taken portrait classes at Santa Fe Workshops and elsewhere. I'm no longer a professional, but am a serious amateur who shoots every week.

I would use the MM site to occasionally hire models for environmental portraits near my home in the San Francisco Bay Area. These would be done mostly with available light, but sometimes with added flash. They would be lifestyle portraits, maybe also fitness or glamour.
