Born and raised in Vermont and New Hampshire, I have always loved the outdoors and the serenity of New England.  I served 8 years in the U.S. Navy on board submarines before coming back to Vermont and attending Vermont Community College. Before I finished college I moved to Maine and completed my Associates Degree in General Studies.

I have driven taxi in Reno, I have braved Wyoming in the winter behind the wheel of an 18 wheeler, and seen 43 of the 48 mainland states (I saw Hawaii while in the Navy).

For the last decade I have had a camera in my hand and have practiced my craft with landscapes and candid street shots of friends and family. I have studied the mechanics of photography under the late Gina Milicia of Melbourne Australia, and have taken instruction from Peter Coulson also of Melbourne. I hope to bring all these disparate skills and backgrounds to my craft, and to our time together as photographer and client.
