I’m Carl. Photography for me is an artful journey that follows a long career in nursing. I come from an industry family. Mom worked casting at MGM and transitioned to Vogue. Dad was an interior designer by trade and a local stage actor.

I’m a people person who enjoys the fashion industry and portrait photography. The mastery of Lindbergh, Karsh, Hurrell, and Blumenfeld propel my ideas. Some of my work is organic and literally on the fly while some shoots take time to compose. I appreciate bold fashion designs and contrasting elements. I’m always learning. My portfolio is a memoir of this journey.

I work with my partner, Lyn, shooting in our home studio, as well as locally. We’d love to hear from you and hopefully, we’ll work together on a project!

I’m currently looking to collaborate with local models (of all ages and types) for fashion and headshot work. I’m all about a trade for print/copy.
