I started my life and art career as an adventure-chasing kid from Michigan. When I graduated high school I moved to California to chase my love of surfing and my career as a photographer. I got to live my dream as an intern for Surfer Magazine in 2010, shooting pro surfers and lineups all over Southern California. After I graduated with my BFA in Photography from CSU Long Beach in 2011, I developed my expertise in the field through work in LA’s commercial photography industry as a professional photographer’s assistant, studio manager, corporate and freelance photographer.

My wife and I live in Ontario, California where I work as a freelance photographer and visual artist. We are both lifelong devotees to the arts and active members of the vibrant art community of Southern California.

My strength is my ability to connect with people on an authentic level. I’ve worked for cottage-industry businesses and billion dollar corporations. I’ve worked with world-title-holding athletes, “at-risk” youth, Oscar-winning actors, and every other category of hyphenated individual.

It’s my philosophy that our differences make us special and valuable in the world. I embrace working with people from all backgrounds. My diverse experience as a photographer has made me a good listener and it helps me get good results.

I’m available for freelance bookings, and also interested in growing collaborative partnerships with local creatives for potential long-term projects in stock photography.
