My photography career started in newspapers in the late 1980's, which led to the discovery that I really enjoyed photographing the beautiful women who took part in the many beauty contests around at the time, leading to Miss England and Miss UK. One of my assignments was to photograph the Miss World contestants when they visited my area.

Based in Robin Hood county - Nottingham, England my company Spike Photography was twice a finalist in the Nottingham Creative Business Awards.I won the title of United Kingdom Pictorial Master Photographer of the Year, the Parcelforce Worldwide East Midlands Small Business of the Year, the Nottingham Lord Mayor's Award for Industry and also awards from the Soroptomists and Ernst & Young.
