“ Go for it !!!”  The ubiquitous cheer and battle cry from my friends, coworkers and family. After years in the advertising world, this 62-year-old woman who raised a foster child and one of my own as a single parent, marathoner and trainer of rescue dogs; I thought it time to reinvent myself. Looking around, I recognized today’s product spokespersons and models had evolved from the archetypical 20-year-old stick models to become more “real “ looking. Burying my modesty for a moment, I have been told that I have that fresh, “ neighbor down the street look”… real, but as good as real gets. My friends have suggested that I have the look that other women of my age group aspire to. It was with their urging and the push from my friend that is a TV makeup artist( who insists I’m ideal for makeup transformations, that I am throwing my hat in the Tongans embarking on this new and exciting journey.
