The Goddess Project is a black-and-white, fine-art figure series of exceptional chiaroscuro images highlighting the goddess spirit. This is a body-positive, shame-free celebration of artistic expression, beauty, strength, diversity, sensuality, & female empowerment.

In Italian, chiaroscuro means “light” and “dark.”

Chiaroscuro came into being during the Renaissance period. Painters like Rembrandt and Caravaggio used it to create the illusion of light and depth. Today’s painters, photographers, and cinematographers all use this technique in a similar way.

Chiaroscuro lighting is all about bold contrasts and emotions.
