I'm a hobbyist photographer and artist who likes to create things that I find interesting and beautiful. I'm newish to photography but have been taking photos in my head my whole life, now I just need to figure out how to do it with a camera and lights. I'm trying to better understand humans and humanity by slowing everything down to one frame. I aspire to find a beauty in subjects that they may not have seen before, and want to capture people of all shapes and sizes in different contexts to do this. Most of my subjects feature nudes because it feels real, vulnerable and a bit subversive to me. And I'm very interested in how light hits skin in different ways to describe forms and shapes which combine to define the human figure. Working with models is still new to me, but I commit to always showing the greatest amount of respect and making sure the collaboration is completely secure and safe. Just let me know if there's anything I can do to make a vulnerable situation feel comfortable.
