Val Mata is a Seattle area photographer who shoots in both digital and film. I try to bring a little punk rock style to my photography, but who knows my work could just be a mess. I don’t shoot weddings, corporate shots, or any other paying gig. I shoot what I like, what I find interesting and beautiful. Ugly and bold. Sexy and intriguing. I try to go out into the world to find those little moments that I can capture in a split second.
