I spent 2 years digesting most of what the University of Colorado at Boulder had, on it's plate to offer me in their photography program. It didn't fill me up. Still hungry, I packed up my truck and drove west to Brooke’s Institute of Photography. I received a BA degree in 2006 and my life course was set.

As a new photographer, deciding which coast to call home was my next challenge. Born in Montauk, NY, but also raised in Kauai, I am a true beachcomber at heart. I'd much prefer riding a wave, then wearing high heels. In choosing between the cold concrete streets of Manhattan, or the sun's glare off the ocean in California, the sand and sea won. It remains, 6 years later, the best reflection of my soul and my images. However, being a product of both the hardworking ethics of New York, and the Aloha Spirit of Hawaii, I feel I blend both attributes in my photography as well as in my client relationships.
I live in the creative heart of Venice, California. Each day I get to witness and marvel at it's movement and vitality.
It's a constant source of inspiration for me, as well as for my photography. My plate is finally full.
