I've worked hard getting to this point in my life. There was a lot of emotional trauma, a lot of healing I had to do for myself. I'm finally ready to take a leap in the direction that I always wanted to go. I've been thinking of it as trying to embody the Goddess Persephone. The trauma she dealt with, the closeted child. The eventual release from those bonds. And she blossomed into this dark yet beautiful being. For even though she is Queen of the Underworld, she still gives us buttercups and daisies in the Spring and the breeze flowing over the fields, and I feel that this describes me perfectly.
