I started out on ModelMayhem as a model (Shura MM# 291) many years ago and have transitioned to being a photographer as well after picking up a camera. I have been seriously leaning photography for about a year and a half when I got asked to shoot a wedding for a friend. I do not have much experience taking photos of people yet, but want to get there. I prefer to use manual focus lenses, natural and candle light, and try different things. I work with a retoucher, but prefer to keep a light touch when it comes to editing. I do not consider myself to be a pro, but I no longer feel like a beginner. I like to have fun with photography and it can be a fun and a relaxing hobby to help me unwind from my unrelated to photography full time job. My goal for the next year is to get comfortable with shooting people and using flash.
