I am a writer/photojournalist/podcaster. Much of my career has been spent in sports journalism but I have branched out into other areas as well.

At this point in my career.I get immense satisfaction from helping people tell their stories, particularly those who have been marginalized because of their gender, religion, ethnicity or sexual/lifestyle preferences.

Writing, photography and podcasting are three ways to do that.

Shooting isn't something I do a lot but it is necessary on some assignments and is a source of enjoyment. It's also helpful to know how a professional photographer goes about their job and I enjoy working alongside professional photographers when the opportunity arises.
