I'm a Houston, TX based photographer with 6 years of experience in portrait and fine arts photography. Currently, I am attending Colby College in Waterville, ME pursuing a Bachelor degree in Studio Arts: Photography.
I am interested in gaining experience in the fields of commercial, editorial, fashion, fine-art and portrait photography.
I use photography as a mean of self-expression. Photographs I take are for myself, to better understand who I am, to express my inner thoughts, and to convey the world around me. A clear understanding of myself allows me to explore my life as a series of photographs displaying my growth as a human-being. Having acknowledged my own personal concepts of self and seeing them reflected in others, has become a means for expressing my own internal narratives. My inspiration and interest are drawn to the wide range of emotions and beauty a person is capable of evoking with their body language. From being warm and intimate to cold and reserved, the capturing of this range and degree of human feeling in a single frame inspires me.
