I am a commercial photographer in Salt Lake City, UT. Since I specialize in portraits and headshots, I am always looking for new ways to augment my portfolio and hope that Model Mayhem will be a resource for subjects of future images and experiments.

For now, I am primarily interested in shooting free headshots for models and actors.

The approach I currently love for shooting them is what I call the "cinematic" look. These are shot outdoors using two studio lights and feature a dreamy, blurry background of the surroundings where they are shot. The combination of lighting, large aperture, and the environment creates an image that is similar to what is seen in dialogue scenes in movies. I have several examples of these in my uploaded photos, but I want to do more of them. If you are willing to have one of these done, I am open to shooting something else for you of your own idea.
