A performance ritualist, youth educator, and loquacious lover, their artistry is the lens through which they conjure Black Queer Feminist research. Nana is powered by pleasure. She shapes a full body YES. She manifests Black Queer healing and liberation as an ancestral practice. Planting futures in her palms, Nana is in service of all young people who shape abundance in the beyond. Nana is the Artistic Director of Healing the Black Body, and she no longer fears her deepest cravings.

BabyCakes is a Black queer nonbinary femme, who conjures Black queer and trans power through the erotic. Growing such power from seed, they offer pussy juice for its watering. They wallow in the wild and dance with desire. More than a dream, they are a manifestation of cravings that are too big and too much for this world to hold. BabyCakes is a pleasure practice - a freedom, fantasy, freakdom practice. They are a Bald Baddie Black Feminist, setting roots otherwise unimaginable. BabyCakes’ burlesque is an offering for honoring depressive lows and manic highs, surviving violence, and manifesting liberated lands.
