I'm a professional artist of 30+ years with an MFA in Visual Arts. For the last few years, I've been exploring photography as a medium for documenting, promoting and validating the diversity of the male form for a project thus titled "The Laymen". The goal is to spread a body-positive message about inclusivity in regards to the bodies we find 'beautiful' and 'acceptable' within the realms of social expectation and idealization.

"The Laymen" utilizes elements of discretion and anonymity both to protect the identity of the models - thus affording them a safe space to embrace their bodies and sexualities - while also playing it in conversation with the discourses of inhibition, body shame, and tropes of toxic masculinity. Note: Models wishing to utilize the work for their portfolios, including headshots, are welcomed to.

There are NO body, race or orientation requirements, and all legal 18+ ages are welcomed. For the purposes of "The Laymen", I utilize male bodies exclusively (including cis-men & trans-men). No modeling experience is necessary, most calls are open and (currently) TFP. The content of each shoot is specific to the model and their comfort/boundaries, all of which are discussed and planned beforehand to ensure a safe, judgement-free space that explores the intersections of art and erotica and how they uniquely relate to the subject in-question.

This work will soon be featured in several magazines and, in the meantime, I am looking to add video to the project for interested models to participate in, including experimental narrative-driven film shorts, performance art, etc.
