As an aspiring amateur photographer I am pretty new to this. I'm looking to learn, see what opportunities may lie ahead, and have some fun along the way.

I've always understood the impact of photography. Everyone cherishes the memories held in time with photos. Similar to music, photos can light a spark that brings people right back to the moment a photo was taken... the sounds, the energy, the feeling. As an art, I think it is important to capture the natural beauty of the world and of people and to appreciate everyone in their own kind. At its roots.. pictures are emotional and its the job of the artists to produce the sensations we want our audience to see, whether that is calming, empathizing, attractive, empowering, or a reflection of oneself.
