I'm experienced in landscape and street photography, and am looking to gain experience with portraits. I prefer artistic realism to staged scenes, nature over studios. I’m interested in capturing a person’s character through expression and setting. I hope to draw on my enthusiasm and knowledge of landscape photography in portraiture. California has some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, so why not take advantage of these settings.

Some of my favorite places to shoot are around my neighborhood of Echo Park, local parks like Griffith Park and Elysian Park, and in natural areas like the San Gabriel Mountains and Mojave Desert.
