Hi! Currently i'm an aspiring photographer who is extremely eager to begin a photography business. I heard of Model Mayhem and how this site can pair photographers with models for either paid work or mutually free. I, myself, am a model who is also into self portraits. Being on both sides of a camera gives me an important understanding of what being a model and photographer entails and how to work well in terms of differing perspective. In addition, I like to express myself creatively so what better idea than to begin my own career as a photographer as well? Of course the best time to start your own photography business is amidst a pandemic!

In terms of photographic style, I would love to chase a dark, moody, traditionally "masculine" style look from men I work with. On the contrary, with women, I would love to work on images that maintain, what I call, the "lazy Sunday" kind of look. I describe this as having a contrast of both tighter and looser fit clothing and hair that appears messy with high volume. Overall, while working with men and women I have the tendency to gravitate toward more basic, neutral colored outfits. My main goal is to have a lot of emphasis on the model while maintaining a simple clean look in my images through my styling of the scene and outfits.

At this point in time, i'm only working at on location shoots where the model and I won't be in a confined space; this would mean that until COVID is actually over, I won't be working in studio conditions. I know i'm young and seemingly unaffected but I see my parents once in a while and I would like to do my part by social distancing. While on the topic, I will be wearing a face mask during the entire shoot.

Side note: The album cover is more accurate of what quality my work will look like since that was taken recently. A side note to the side note, it's also me in the photo. When you have no one as a subject in isolation, who else is there (I really did take that photo)?
