About Me

Hello, my name is Doug. I'm a photographer and filmmaker with over a decade of experience primarily working on leveraging media to make the world a better place.

My projects have ranged from telling oral histories to improve the care of cancer survivors in rural South Georgia and tackling food deserts in low income housing authorities in New England to building health literacy in NYC and now developing social-emotional learning programs in this time of division.

I got into fashion photography in collaboration with Avni, a sustainable fashion designer who helped women in South Asia gain socioeconomic mobility. I've participated in New York Fashion Week, Boston Fashion Week, and Providence StyleWeek as well as been published in lifestyle magazines.

Back in Boston, looking to scratch that creative itch while the world is in flux, and looking to collaborate!
