I graduated from the Chicago Pivot Poing beauty school in 1975 and worked at I Magnin beauty salon, Bonwit Teller's beauty salon, Ernest Collins Chicago, Upstairs on Oak and James Siezant beauty salon, all located in the Gold Coast area. In between customers I played around with make-up, bought some books, and became quite good at its application; that's when I started testing/working with models from various agencies. After working with photographers, I became curious to see what it felt like on the opposite side of the camera. I dabbled around with photography for a while and but then started fathering children and the photography kinda got left behind, although the passion has always been there. My kids are grown now and I have picked up the camera again and want to take my photography to another level.
