After many years spent behind the camera as a fashion photographer, I founded Koan Apparel in 2019 to make art in front of the lens, and to bring an edgy and eclectic approach to yoga and athletic wear.

Like the zen riddle my line is named for, Koan's mission is to help you live outside the box with bold and original designs that express your multifaceted personality.

I take inspiration from diverse sources like graffiti and street art, Japanese calligraphy and textile design, typography, and nature. For now, I'm mainly focused on leggings, but soon I'll be expanding to shorts, sports bras, and swimwear.
