Hello everyone, I'm an engineer by day who has been interested in photography/videography since about 2018.

As such I am very new to this. I have always taken pictures and videos at family events before, but not to where learning the camera settings was of any importance. I do want to change that though.

I do hope to learn more about photography and videography, such as lighting and editing the footage afterwards.

I do have some experience with some post editing tools but still have a long way to go. Which is why I'm here to learn from other professionals :)

I hope to network and continue to practice.

A big reason for me joining here has to do with me going to a Cosplay Convention for the first time a few years ago. While there I was amazed at how big photography and videography was there and was amazed at the level and quality of the pictures taken by photographers. That played a big part in my interest to learn more about this, and maybe one day turn this into more than just a hobby for me.
