My Name is Cheyan and I've been doing hair for 5 years . My first year , I started doing sew- in hair extensions in my basement. I had no idea what I was doing but knew that I loved the art of hairstyling . Over 9 months my clientele grew and before I knew it I was chair renting at a local salon in my hometown of Niagara Falls . I’m certified in hot fusion , tape ins , lace frontals / wigs , microlinks , and I also specialize in sew-ins , braids, and styling . I graduated Niagara College with a diploma in hairstyling in October 2018 . Before my love for hair it was makeup , and I also have a diploma in Fashion Photographic Makeup from Complections International that I received in 2007. I’m new to the Toronto area and hope to achieve my dreams of being a freelance hairstylist . My desire to work behind the scene for movies, shows , and photo shoots is so strong . I know in my heart this is what I’m meant to do . My hope is that MM will help me network with like minded individuals who have the same desire that I do . It’s a running joke for me to say that “ I want to work on set styling the weather man “, and I know one day it’ll come true .
