Born and raised in England, my early education focused on fine art. I began to foster a serious interest in photography as a teenager.

A formative career in theater production and set building also informed my sense of light, space and drama.

After traveling and working extensively in Europe, I moved to California in 2001.

With a multidisciplinary design and fabrication background, I am an exacting craftsman with a keen eye for detail. This fastidiousness reveals itself in my photography projects too.

As a painter and shooter, my work has been exhibited at the prestigious National Gallery, London, and published as book cover and album artwork.

I use photography as both a tool for aesthetic documentation and vital creative expression.

Thrilled to be a resident of Los Angeles, I’m inspired by the city's capacity for innovation and reinvention.
