I'm an art, abstract, and street photographer who focuses on finding the magic in the mundane. I love the glory of odd items basked in the dying day's light, or the patterns left by human activities...
I'm very much interested in shooting people, but with an eye to street photography and abstraction. I'm looking for models who'd be interested in collaborating, less than being directed, who are up for an adventure and are flexible. I imagine shooting outdoors in unusual locations (and spending some time exploring together - out in nature and around cities). I also want to experiment with lighting while focusing in on bodies: hands, eyes, arms, mouths, feet, and so on. I love the work of Gregory Crewdson, and I imagine doing work that's similar, though far less expansive!

I'm a musician/engineer/producer who's been active in the music scene in Boston for 20 years or more - I've always had cameras and have enjoyed shooting, but in recent years I find myself shooting and making videos. I have an Etsy shop where I sell metal prints - fire hydrants have been a long standing interest. I post to Instagram regularly as @mr.distorter and @hydrantsofmr.distorter

I can not afford to pay at this time, but more than happy to trade for prints. I also open to other kinds of barter - maybe I can help with recording, mixing, or editing, or live sound help, or video recording/editing.
