A person who has been dabbling in photography for ten years, and who now wants to focus on developing better photography skills.

Photography is not currently a career, but a very enjoyable hobby. I have acquired a lot of gear, by falling into a Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS) phase early and now want to put the gear to use.

I retired from the US Army 13 years ago and now work as a Information Technology (IT) Specialist in Cyber Security and Customer Support.

While I'm currently working I want to get my photography workflow sorted out and find out what area of photography best suits my interests.

Currently my photography is limited to taking some landscape and cityscape photos while traveling, photos of family and friends at gatherings.

My immediate goals in photography is to learn a great deal more about the equipment I have through online training, workshops and just getting out there and taking photographs more.
