Hi! My name is Connie Chavez and I'm very new to the makeup artist industry. I'm actually currently enrolled in E.I. School of Professional Makeup, located in Hollywood, of the beautiful and sunny, southern California.
Ever since I can remember, almost any kind of art has always been my interest, but the artistry that goes into the more cinematic special effects makeup has truly fascinated me more. So, that is my goal after I graduate from the school, is to develop the knowledge and skills to become a special effects make up artist in the movie production and entertainment business, but for now, just starting with the basics. I'm so eager to learn all the fundamentals of makeup and different stages as I progress to the next courses. We are fortunate to live in a very diverse time, where learning the human face and body in its many different forms, race, culture, features, complexions, maturities, and with all the old and new, and evolving techniques, creations, desired looks, fashions and trends, it becomes an endless sculpting of imagination for the artist like myself to grow with. Although I'm new to the makeup industry as I mentioned, I just know that I'm very passionate about my career choice and the journey that will unfold.
