Hello, folks! My name is TJ!
I'm so excited at the idea of connecting with other aspiring artists and creative sorts in order to perfect my own skills. Being in an environment like that can only help to raise all spirits, even if only a little, and I can't wait to take part in that! : ) I am a pen and ink artist for the most part, but like almost all creative people, I like to experiment and explore in other pursuits. Photography has always been a passion of mine, and has become more and more fascinating to me as time goes on. I suppose it all started being a film buff, observing the merits of a perfect angle and how it can dramatically change even the most modest scene. I always get a thrill when I can get close to that sort of magic. And now, it's time my photographic work had a place of it's own! : )

I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes (short of my art teacher's explanation of what 'style' is):
“You are an artist, no matter how often you make art or how much you make from it.”

Monetizing has become such a drive these days, I think the fun of creativity sometimes gets washed away. My name is TJ, and my work is inspired by a down-to-earth atmosphere and diversity. I don't just like 'one thing'. Through illustration and photography, sometimes the two together, I am focused on creating bold colorful work showcasing my childhood obsessions, my region, and heritage.
