I believe that strength is beautiful. I love running outside, lifting weights, cooking at home, and the occasional glass of wine. I've been both underweight and thirty pounds overweight in my adult life, and a few years ago I made the decision to drop the cycle of bingeing and restricting, and prioritize a healthy relationship with food and self-image. I've seen firsthand how empowering and rewarding it can be when you make peace with your body. I've since learned to love mine for all that it does for me (not just what it looks like), which I have found to be incredibly rewarding, and is what ultimately got me into lifting weights and working out to be strong rather than thin. This journey of self-reflection ultimately lead to me to become a personal trainer, and my goal every day is to empower other women to help them achieve their health and fitness goals, celebrate their bodies, and lead a lifestyle of balance and self-acceptance.
