Ever since I was a child, I knew I wanted to be a comic book artist and writer. I even started a screenwriting club in high school, certain that I would always be behind the magic and never infront of it. Modeling was never something I would imagine I’d take up as a hobby, let alone a career. But when my boyfriend started photography in 2017, I became his go to muse. Although I wasn’t comfortable with how I looked, I wanted to help him anyway I could so of course I modeled for him. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did though. With each photoshoot we did, my confidence kept expanding and I started to grow more and more comfortable with my appearance. I embraced all the qualities I had that the world deemed as unfit for modeling. I went from shying away and covering my face whenever he’d pull his camera out to striking a pose and even suggesting locations to shoot. Modeling became a way to remind myself that I am a powerful woman who is capable of so much more than she ever thought. I do mainly fashion modeling, editorial, and I’m going to make my own cosplay page soon as well! I can’t wait to meet new passionate artists.
