Ian Wainaina was born and raised in Kenya. After high school, he moved to the US to study business at Cornell University. He currently works and lives in Princeton, NJ and pursues photography in his free time.

Wainaina’s photography explores the relationship between subjects and their surroundings. Utilizing surreal subject-surrounding interactions; as well as unconventional posing, Wainaina hopes to grab the viewer’s attention in a world full of chaos and distraction.

My goal is to collaborate with models and stylists to produce top quality art that will be mutually beneficial to all parties
