I inherited a passion for photography from my father and around the age of ten I started to take pictures with a 35mm analog camera. Perhaps one of the first memories I have as a young photographer was a trip with my father to Rome with the feeling of satisfaction in taking photographs, as well as the curiosity to see my printed shots. We often use to develop our own photographs at home and, as the images began to appear, I watched with a mixture of fascination and curiosity.



Being shy by nature, I feel more comfortable behind the camera as I find it to be a discrete vantage point from where to observe the world, which allows me to portray what I see and feel in a way that reflects more my personality.



My passion for photography goes hand in hand with a passion for travel (or perhaps photography has made travel a requirement) therefore my focus has mainly been on travel reportage photography.

As well as reportage photography, I also now for some years have been experimenting with a more conceptual type of photography which I have undertook in collaboration with major international agencies resulting in my photos being appreciated all over the world.
